INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Installation Notes

1. Turn off engine. Ensure engine is idle, oil pressure is zero and oil is at safe temperature.

2. Tap into engine block with adaptor. (Item no. 7 In parts list.)

3. Fix Mounting bracket to engine to suit. Ensure nuts are on the outside. Tighten fully. Items (5)

4. Wipe mounting bracket flange and place Centrifuge Gasket (Item 2) on flange face.

5. Fix Centrifuge to mounting bracket face using 4 bolts (Item 4 ) as shown in diagram.

6. Tighten adaptor (Items 6) into centrifuge ensuring sealing against Inlet Copper Washer supplied with Centrifuge. Optional - Fix ¾" Tee and Pressure gauge if required. (Item 8) on parts list.

7. Next, fix and tighten the Ball Valve and Adaptor (Items 6 ) as shown in diagram.

8. Attach hose and secure and tighten to engine adaptor and ball valve adaptor.

9. Ensure ball valve is fully closed. Ensure Centrifuge cover and Band-clamp are in place.

10. Start Engine. Allow engine to get to working oil pressure. Check for leaks around hose inlet, ball valve and mounting bracket face.

11. If OK, open ball valve SLOWLY until Centrifuge is spinning.

12. Check for leaks and vibration before leaving area.

13. Report installation to supervisor.
